| - Hampshire Sows - |
 |
Reachin Out 7-6 (Reachin Out x Butch Cassidy) |
| Sired by a Hampshire legend and out of an intensely bred sow (Butch Cassidy x his Littermate Sister) from Don and Todd Michaels. This sow is a very level made, structurally correct, feminine female, that throws excellent muscle shape and style. |
 |
Cain 210-7 (Hard Hit x Bone Collector) |
| Grand Champion Hampshire gilt at the 2005 Ohio State Fair and a littermate to Progress, the Champion Hampshire boar at the 2005 Summer Type Conference, now housed at Shaffers Gold Rush. A very complete female with a wide body and clean front end. Extremely good Hampshire female. |

 |
10-4 (Shut Em Down x 105 x Neat) |
| The most massively constructed gilt we have raised to date. She goes back
to our foundation Neat sow and is out of a direct 105 sow (Dressed to
Kills littermate 3-11). She consistently passes on her squareness of body, bone, and muscle. |
 |
McCoy 94-4 (Neat x BMW) |
| Our herd building foundation
sow. She produced the $19,500
top-selling prospect gilt at the 2003 Fall Classic, Dressed
to Kill (Real McCoy boar stud), 2000 Champaign County Fair
Division Champion (1,000 shown), and many of our best sows.
She is a very productive sow and consistently produces very high quality pigs. |
 |
105 3-11 (105 x Neat) |
| Sired by the great 105
boar from McLemore and out of
our foundation Neat sow (McCoy 94). She came out of a very deep litter of pigs that included Dressed to Kill and a littermate sister that Jim McCoy offered $1,500 for. She generates square made pigs with lots of mass and muscle volume, just as her legendary sire. |
 |
19.5K 8-5 (Ice Man x Neat) |
| The one that we just
couldn't let go of. We passed $19,000
on this gilt to keep her in our herd. She is out of our Neat
foundation sow and Ice Man of Top Cut. Some may question
passing up so much money as we did for this gilt, but she is
simply the best gilt we have ever raised. She has a huge butt,
clean neck, big frame, and all the style one could hope for
in a gilt. Consider this, would you rather own a $19,500 gilt
or sell the best gilt you ever raised? |
 |
Bates 20-6 (Ninety-nine 92-5 x 102-8) |
| Sired by 92-5 at High
Point and out of a Final Answer 102-8 sow.
We purchased this gilt from Bates Showpigs in their spring sale.
She came out of a deep litter that included the top selling barrow
at Bates' sale. This gilt is a super heavy muscled bluebutt that is
ultra clean and cut. She consistently throws highly competitive pigs that have done really well for our customers. |
 |
Smuckers 2-7 (Smuckers x IceMan(19.5K)) |
| This is one of our favorite sows. She has an extremely wide chest with huge bone, and is long bodied. She is a great mother and really generates the bone and muscle that she showed as a young gilt and still shows today. |
 |
AKA 6-3 (AKA 27-4 x Shutem Down x 105 x Neat) |
| This is a really good sow out of our best barrow making female. She is a really stout, heavy boned female, with great structure and muscle. |
 |
99 1-5 (99 x Neat) |
| Like all females from our 94-4 McCoy Neat sow, she is very feminine, correct structured, and square made. She looks like a carbon copy of her mother at an older age. A really great mother that is throwing some good show prospects. |
 |
Chrome 2-6 (Chrome x IceMan (19.5K)) |
| This sow was the Reserve Champion Crossbred Breeding Gilt at the 2004 Michigan State Fair and also won her county fair class. She was also the first gilt retained out of our 19.5K sow. She is a really heavy boned, wide sprung, square made female that has excellent flexibility and correct structure. |
 |
Power 2-7 (Power x IceMan (19.5K)) |
| This sow is sired by the purebred Hampshire Power 276-1, now deceased, from Cedar Ridge. She is a very feminine female with lots of muscle, width, and great feet and legs. Her littermate brother was Reserve Champion barrow at ____________in 2006. We think she is a real special female |
 |
Smuckers 2-6 (Smuckers x IceMan (19.5K)) |
| A real complete made sow sired by the Champion hampshire boar from the 2005 Indiana State Fair, Smuckers (Big Kahuna x Bump and Grind), and out of our 19.5k sow. She is a really feminine sow with excellent feet, legs, and just really good all over. In her first litter she had the Reserve Champion Light Weight barrow at the 2007 Ottawa County Fair (Ohio). |
 |
Smuckers 6-7 (Smuckers x 99 92-5) |
| Another Smuckers female from a different sow line. Her mother has been one of our top baby showpig mothers. This gilt is really long bodied, sleek headed, and contains a lot of muscle. At over a year old (as of 2007) she could be shown now and still be competitive at any show. |
 |
McNamee (Fatal Attraction x Lucky Charm) |
| Really, Really, good!! She has everything that Fatal does right. Really big wide bodied with nice feet and legs and a pretty, clean head and neck. Out of a sow that has thrown a champion in every litter. |
 |
Stephens (106-4 x Carney Man 82-1) |
| This gilt was purchased at the Ohio State Fair where she was Fourth Overall Crossbred Breeding Gilt. She won her class at every jackpot she was shown at and stood second in her class at the state fair. She is a heavy boned, wide chested, long bodied female that is really level in her top and has great eye appeal. We are really excited about the genetic potential of this female. |
